How to not stress and make the child listen

  • This is really hard. I used to try just to remember that people around me had almost certainly had the same experience with their kids.


  • It usually means the youngster is tired or bored. I tend to buy things on line and get groceries delivered. So much easier. Then u can enjoy a little shopping trip with your youngster. Your child could help make a little shopping list and help you find the things like milk and bread and put in your trolley. The trick I think is to get your youngster involved. Maybe your little one could add one thing on the list that he/she would like, such as some bananas. And u wont feel stressed as it is a fun outing. U have already ordered on line most of the things u need for your family. All the best.


  • I try and take a breath and keep a calm voice. Depending on the reason for the tantrum depends on what I actually do but remember most of us have been there so you’re not alone.
