Eat regular red meat and green leafy vegies such as spinach, cabbage etc and drink orange juice afterwards to as Vit C helps absorbs the iron . If you are concerned , you can always have a blood test with your doctor to see if he is iron deficient before you take any supplements .
Other than supplements, green leafy veg and lean red meat is the best legumes are also rich in iron. Unfortunately kids don’t always prefer those things…good luck!
Have iron foods or supplements with vitamin c as it helps the body absorb it….avoid calcium around rhe intake of iron because it counteracts absorbtion……foods such as spinach, greeny leafy veg, mushrooms, lean red meat, beans, are all great sources
