I am glad that I travelled and lived overseas before I had kids. But I wonder if anyone have regrets that you didn’t get to do or finish something before taking the big family step?

  • yep – divorced my ex husband LOL

  • We tried to travel as much as we could before we fell pregnant knowing it would be awhile again till we could do this.
I wished we bough a house though.

  • I would have found a better father. I didn’t do too well there and my kids suffered for it. Now, they have a better relationship with me then dad, but that’s not a good thing is it?

  • Not really. I did a lot of stuff before I had kids and experienced what I wanted. I can’t even think of something I would do if I went back in time!

  • I have travelled but wished I had spent a bit of time in Europe before kids, well before I met my husband really…..I have always wanted to o, so we have decided to go when kids are grown up. I have a few years to get excited!

  • I have no regrets before having kids, but now that the kids are more older we take lots more holidays so we can see the world all together.

  • I traveled before I was married and I’m glad I did. All in all I was pretty happy with having bubs when I did.

  • I wish I had become emotionally stable prior to having my girls but in all honesty none of us know how pregnancy will affect us or our emotionally wellbeing.
Im so glad i got to travel a bit and work alot so I now know what im missing lol but i am happy I lived a bit before settling down to motherhood and all its joys, dramas.

  • I agree with Jabelle, wish I had of been fit before and could have bounced back quicker afterwards. I travelled and did a lot of child unfriendly fun things like wine tasting at vineyards, lunches with friends that turn into dinners, harbour cruises before children so have no regrets there. Honestly wish I had saved more money, got my house in order and got everything in order beforehand!

  • Wish I’d been fitter and been more aware of my health and the effect that would have on my unborn children. Good gut health is very important. Being fitter would have helped during the pregnancy.
