  • Between 1 & 2 theres 4 yrs 1 month 12 days. Between 2 & 3 theres exactly 11 months. Between 3 &4 theres 1 yr 11 months 10 days and then between 4 & 5 theres 1 yr 10 months 3 days. All ages gaps were good however the Irish twins were and are the trickiest and most challenging. At 5 & 4 they fight more than they don’t, wouldn’t reccomend hahaha

  • Good on you for feeling like you are ready for another child. It took me a couple of years then as we had to go through IVF it took longer so the age gap between our 2 is almost 4 years 9 months.. It happens when it happens.

  • 1-2 is 3 years and a few days
    2-3 is 3 years 8/9 months

  • I have 2 years between my first two and then just under 3 years between the middle and baby. 5years, 3years, 5 months.

  • 18 months! I have a 21 month old and an almost 4 month old! It’s amazing

  • There are 20 months between my first two, then 26 months to #3. I would have preferred #3 a bit closer, but it is hard work with them all young together.

  • The age gap between my daughters is 8 years because I had 4 miscarriages in that time.

  • My children are 6, 4 and over due.
A friend and I both had babies babies 2 years apart, and we both honestly thought 3 years between would have been ideal.
Enjoy your 5 month old. Once second baby comes you have less time.

  • There is 1 year and 6 days between my 2. We half planned it, I said I wanted another baby, partner agreed then 2 weeks later found out I was pregnant! My youngest is 9 weeks old and we are considering trying again soon!

  • We have a gap of 3.5 years between our two. It’s great because the eldest was just that little bit more independent when the baby was born. Now that they’re older, the younger one is upset about having to wait to do everything the older one does. I don’t think the gap really matters – they will find some way to whinge about it!

  • My two are 10months apart, I fell pregnant 6 weeks after the first and the second came a bit early. we obviously hadn’t planned for such a small age gap and It was hard while they were both young as our little girl hated her younger brother for a good year lol.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend it but I wouldn’t change either as they are now best friends (most of the time) and it is so beautiful to watch how they look after each other :)

  • There is 9 years between my 2 boys as I unfortunately had multiple miscarriages between their births. I believe everyone has a different idea. To me I would have liked to have about a year between their births to give my body a chance to rest. No matter what you decide it will work out for you.

  • There is just under 4 years between my son and daughter. It was the right age gap for me mentally and physically. I feel that If i had a child any sooner I wouldn’t have been able to deal with pregnancy and I”m glad I waited.
    Each person is different

  • We have 4 children. 12 years between the first 2 and second 2. The gap between them is 2 1/2 years. This gives you time to enjoy their young years and time when the older one goes to school.

  • I have an 8 1/2 year gap and yes the same dad it just how it worked out it was sort of planned but it’s great the eldest is a fantastic help she always wants to help and adores her
