When I see so many young people with tattoos these days, I can’t help thinking it’s just a fashion that may be regretted by some. I would be so disappointed if my girl got a tattoo as a teenager. Not sure how I could say anything supportive. What about you?

  • So many people these days have tattoos that it makes those without tattoos stand out to me. I’ve always preferred clear skin to tattoos.

  • I am not a fan of tattoos – I just don’t like the look – but I don’t really think it says anything negative if someone has one. Probably wouldn’t want my kids to, though.

  • Personally I wouldnt get one as I know of so many people who regret theirs years down the tract. However some don’t and they look great though. Just knowing that some people regret their tattoo decision has put me off getting one.

  • I don’t particularly like them either. Especially all over. Each to their own though I suppose.

  • The only difference between someone with tattoos and someone without tattoos is that people with tattoos don’t judge people for not having any.

  • I think tattoos can be pretty but they’re only nice on a young and tight skin. Once you become old and wrinkly I don’t think it looks very good.Besides that they quite permanent. If you like it now, chance is you don’t like it with 10 years or so. Of course you can have them removed but that is pretty dear.

  • I did want one when l was in my twenties and so glad l never got one,but each to their own!

  • I hate them, each to there own I guess

  • I think attitudes to tattoos have changed/are changing. Personally, I don’t have a problem with them but if my kids decided to get them I would encourage them to have them where they could be covered up. I never thought I’d consider tattoos but a friend has had her eyebrows done and they look really natural, and I kinda like them!

  • to each their own. i don’t mind them as long as they have a meaning.

  • I got my sons name six weeks after he was born, i was 18. that was 5 years ago and iv’e had another baby since and now really can’t be bothered to get another one but i have to now as i can’t just have one childs name. I think i was just young and wanted to do it and now that i’m older i’m not that interested in them anymore. My sister has about 6 and said she wanted another i told her it is going a bit far but she doesn’t think so, yet i think they make her look less attractive.

  • I like looking at them……on other people! I think when they have them on their face it’s a bit too much. Both my kids have tattoos, small tasteful ones that have a meaning for them. Myself, can’t see me wanting one. Having said thst,my mum was 80+ when she got her first tatt :/

  • I don’t like them, I don’t know why! :-)

  • I have seen all ages with tattoos – times have changed!

  • I’m personally not a fan of them – I would discourage my children before they became adults and could make their own decisions.
