Not as yummy as my favourite brand but a fantastic budget buy indeed. Great size and still yummy for those big batch bake ups

The packaging has changed for these products, however they are still a great budget buy for baking. Our kids are known to sneak into the pantry & raid the choc chip jar too

I always use this to coat my treats and protein balls that I make. It’s cheap and melts so easily and quickly too in the microwave.

Home brand dark chocolate chips are good they work and do the job they are a great price but you can notice the difference between them and better quality ones but still worth buying if on a budget.

I often buy these to use in choc chip cookies. They are a little bit more bitter and not as sweet as Cadbury but once cooked they taste great so it’s worth it for the cheaper price.

I’m not afraid to try Woolies brand products and I’m sure glad I chose the Dark Choc Chips for my cooking projects. These work a treat in my baking or just for sprinkling over cakes or pancakes. Add them to a milk shake, or sprinkle on top of hot chocolate, or be like me and just eat a few while you mix ingredients.

Home brand dark chocolate bits are great value for your money, they taste just like any other dark chocolate. They are great to add to muffins, sprinkle on pancakes for breakfast.

The Woolworths home brand of the choc chip bits costs under $2 and is no different to any other brands perfect in my choc chip cookies

So, I was to make choc chip cookies and i bought these choc chips this time. Have heard people say home brands are equally good as brands. And fair enough, these taste good and I’d definitely buy them again as they are good quality and cheaper price.

Being a cheaper version of other choc chips, I wondered how these would hold up in cookies and I was pleasantly surprised. They were great and taste good in a biscuit too. I quite like to nibble on a few when cooking and these tasted ok for that too, also I think some other more well know choc chip like cadbury taste better for eating. However I will definitely buy these again.

These chocolate chips are not only tasty but very affordable, I make bulk amounts of chocolate chip cookie dough and freeze it, it doesn’t effect the taste or texture of the chocolate chips when I do this, they are smaller then an average chocolate chip which I prefer for when I make cookie dough, or any type of cake
