I’m a huge baked bean fan and was very picky on branding, but these baked beans from Black & Gold have become a fast favourite. They are very nice beans, they hold their shape and don’t get mushy or powdery after cooking. The tomato sauce is very nice, not too sweet. Its a great find and something I’ll buy more of

These baked beans are absolutely delicious! It is a bit saucy but I like how the flavour is rich but not too sweet. The beans also have a great texture and are not mushy at all. I am so pleased to discover this range as I would definitely keep a few cans in the pantry for quick tasty meals.

My whole family enjoys baked beans especially for breakfasts on its own or with toast or as part of a big breakfast. I really like them in a toastie too. We all enjoy these baked beans, easy to open with the can opener and tasted great. Easily heated on the stove or microwave.

I bought a tin of Black and Gold baked beans to have an easy breakfast on hand. It was perfect for a lazy brunch for myself and my husband. We had them on toasted English muffins, a bit of cheese, friend eggs, and beans. It was delicious. And filling. The tin did have a lot of liquid sauce, but once I drained some, it was perfectly fine to use.

At first when i opened the baked beans can, it looked quite liquidy but after mixing it up it came up pretty nice. Overall taste is very nice. My kids also love it. We had it for breakfast with toast. Yummy! It was not overly salty or sweet. Just the right balance. Price is also good.

These are handy to have in the pantry. My husband and I like to eat these as an easy dinner or lunch. We would recommend these and would consider buying them again. They are affordable and easy to heat through. Great tasting and convenient. Will look for them again in the future.

these baked beans were full to brim of can. the beans were solid and the sauce had a lovely thick tomato flavour. Only needed to use half the tin of beans to coat my toast for lunch that day and kept the other half for the next day’s lunch, value

I must admit I was a bit reluctant to try the black and gold baked bean in tomato sauce as my family dont normally like plain labeled backed beans. So I heated them up and my husband had them on toast and he was pleasantly surprised on the taste. He loved the tomato sauce and the consistency of the backed beans. Looks like I will be buying them from now on

These baked beans are a very rich colour, and have a lovely taste to match. The family enjoyed them, and I would definitely buy them again. They are a little firmer than other beans we have tried. I would have liked a ring pull to open the can but understand the need to keep costs down.
