I buy paper plates for giving leftovers or transporting lightweight food, and I don’t like to use plastic plates which pollute the environment. I find only home brands make paper plates anymore, and the Black & Gold ones stack up to any other I bought. Definitely not thick or sturdy enough to use at a bbq, for example – you couldn’t have it on your lap and cut a steak, and wet kind of salads would probably soak through pretty quickly. But I like to bake, and I always give cake or other items to people on paper plates to take home, so there’s no crockery to remember to return. I’m happy to keep purchasing the Black & Gold paper plates because they do the job
