Penne is a must have in our household for dinner most nights as we frequently enjoy creamy pasta dishes. The kids and I take turns making meals using it and I repurchase almost on a weekly basis with how quickly we run out of our stock at home. Would highly recommend.

I have loved using Black & Gold Penne, I haven’t noticed any difference between the taste or quality of the meals I’ve made but do notice a big difference in my grocery bill. It cooks really well, doesn’t stick together, and is made with 100% Australian durum wheat. Its a great buy

My family and I love Black and Gold’s Penne Pasta. It takes a bit longer to cook than other types of pasta, but once it’s ready it is delicious, filling, and satisfying. The quality is as good as the more well known brands and the price is extremely affordable. It is also versatile and goes with so many different types of sauce as well as perfect for pasta bakes.

I purchased this to make some pasta for myself and my daughter amd it was good. Easy to cook and tasted pretty good

Pasta can be so hit and miss sometimes, this penne was definitely a hit, it cooks up wonderfully and was enjoyed by the whole family

I was skeptical when buying this pasta as my 5 year old is very fussy however we were all pleasantly surprised! My 5 year old didn’t notice a difference and I loved the consistency and thickness of pasta. From now on I’ll only be buying black and gold pasta as it is much more affordable and the quality is great

We’ve been choosing IGA Penne for as long as I can remember. It’s a fraction of the price of expensive name brands but equals if not exceeds their quality. When cooking, they don’t break apart or go mushy like some other stores home brands do and their shape perfectly holds the sauce. Yum!

Was ok however I found it to have a little gluggy type of flavour. Not as nice as some brand name

We love using penne for any pasta based dishes, the price of the black and gold brand is great for the high quality pasta that you can. The bag is a perfect size for our family and will be able to save some extra money by using the black and gold brand

I purchased this as an alternative to the more expensive brands I usually buy. The family didn’t notice a difference and the quality of the black and gold was fantastic. I think it’s great value for money and definitely a pantry staple for many pasta dishes. Will definitely be purchasing more of this in the future.

I normally buy the home brand pasta from other supermarkets so I was keen to give this a try. The quality was equal to the other brands and was a bit cheaper so I would definitely consider purchasing the Black and Gold Penne pasta again. Would love to see some other styles too.

Has to be one of the best Pene pastas out there! The black and gold Pene pasta is very easy to cook, it clocked evenly and did not stick together. I found the black and got Pene pasta is longer than other brands which I liked. The whole 500gm packet made 4 adult size meals.

I loved the penne pasta from the Black and Gold range … so much so that I have since gone out and purchased multiple more packets since my first purchase. I found the pasta fantastic for pasta bakes and in carbonara meals, and in my opinion, is the best value penne out there. 5 stars!

The pasta is such great value for money, and unlike some other ‘value’ brands I know, this pasta did not break apart on cooking. It was good texture, good quality and good taste! I absolutely recommend.

I used this penne to make a base for my pasta bake.. I was really impressed., It cooked evenly and uniform and after cooking it rinsed very clean. I tossed it in some olive oil and fresh basil and herbs and had a bite- delicious. I’ll definitely repurchase.

Black & Gold Penne Pasta absolutely delicious. Great same taste and couldn’t tell difference compared to other branded pasta . It cooks easy, doesn’t brake when cooking which is great. Definitely another great factor is that is cheap and budget friendly and an extra bonus it is Made in Australia.

In my $15 IGA haul i picked up the Black & Gold penne pasta and honestly… why woukd anyone pay more when this does the job perfectly?

I grabbed the Black & Gold Penne 500g to use for a quick mid-week dinner, and honestly, it did the job perfectly. It cooks up nicely and holds its shape well without going mushy, which is great for the price. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s perfect for throwing together a simple pasta dish or a bake. I’ve tried a lot of penne pastas….stores-own brands and more expensive brand named ones. This Black & Gold penne pasta surprised me! It was better than most I’ve tried. At less than $1, it’s budget friendly for families. The pasta cooked well. It wasn’t gluggy. It also didn’t fall apart unlike some I’ve tried. It had the perfect bite when al dente. I love how the little tubes and ridged surfaces capture sauces beautifully. Whether it’s smothered in Alfredo like mine here or swimming in tomato goodness, Black & Gold penne won’t let you down. Repurchase? Already have!

This product was by far my favorite of the black and gold items we tried and I will definitely be repurchasing. We eat pasta at least once a week and you just cant beat the price of these noodles. The texture was perfect and tasted just as good as big names

Loved this pasta. It cooked in the 12 minutes stated and was just the right texture. Bonus was it was only $1 and made in Australia. This was on a par with other supermarket brands but I thought it tasted nicer.

This is by far the best and cheapest product in my shopping haul. They are a great shape, good ingredients and so inexpensive. This is probably the best value product in the whole black and gold range. This is another staple to be able to stock up on or feed a big family

I’m still so shocked at the price in value of this pasta. I cannot believe I could get so much for under a dollar and they taste great. I definitely will be using them in the future. I’m so happy I tried them. They’re great by you for money I definitely recommend to anyone who is looking at trying them

Absolutely love this penne pasta from black and gold . It tastes so good and easy and wuick to make . So quickly absorbs the sauces. Must need product in the pantry . Great for kids and their lunch box. Will definitly buy again and again. And will recommend to everyone

Its getting tough to feed the family with the cost of groceries going up. Its great that Black and Gold are still affordable, and have a huge range of quality products. Their Penne Pasta was only 90c which is incredible. I was able to whip up a tasty creamy carbonara for the family for less then $15, using products from the Black & Gold Range. The pasta, tasted like pasta should. It cooked well and the family throughly enjoyed the meal. With prices so low, and the quality so high I will continue to buy from the range.
