This puff pastry is amazing for baking and I find myself repurchasing it whenever we run out. The kids love the treats I make with it and have even tried their own hand at coming up with new concoctions. High quality, never had issues with the brand or their products. Highly recommend!

This puff pastry is a stand out product in the Black & Gold range. It cooks perfectly and consistently, no soggy sides or bottoms. The price is unbeatable when compared to leading brands, under $4 for excellent quality pastry. Its made up of at least 80% Australian products and is Australian made. This is a winner

Living in a tiny rural community, we have to do lots of catering ourselves for all sorts of events – parties, afternoon teas, funerals, etc. Sausage rolls and savoury pin wheels are a good staple, but I don’t like store bought ones – homemade are so much tastier, but the pastry is all important! Too think, soggy or fall apart and it’s a waste of time and energy, so I decided to make both these things to see how they would stand up to my expectations. B&G Puff Pastry, and the Reduced Fat Tasty Shredded Cheese both worked so well! Saved me heaps of time and effort and the results were equal to any artisan bakery product. Crisp flaky pastry, just the right thickness, and a lovely golden colour No need to spend time grating cheese and it doesn’t stick together. The reduced fat version leaves no grease and melted beautifully. Both products have a long “use by” time, and I actually froze some of my cooking to see what would happen when reheated. Reheated perfectly in a slow oven to the same original crispness, meaning I can stockpile cooking for a rainy day when I suddenly need to take a plate or help with catering. Absolutely will be buying B&G in the future. It saves me time and money and I’d defy anyone to tell that it wasn’t a name brand!

I bought the Black and Gold puff pastry to make sausage rolls for my family.
The price firstly is far more reasonable than other commercial brands but the quality is right up there if not better than other frozen puff pastries.
Its easy to roll and the results are golden puffy and crisp as you would expect from a good puff pastry.

This puff pastry has proven to be just as good as any other puff pastry I’ve used before, which will be amazing for us to use and try different pies for my kids without breaking the bank. The taste and texture was so good, and readily available at IGA! Yum

I like to use frozen puff pastry to make some quick and easy snacks or lunchbox meals for kiddies to bring to school. I usually buy the brand names. I didn’t know Black and Gold also has their own puff pastry until now. I have an IGA just 10 mins from my place. So now I can get them even more easily when I need them. And my IGA is open till 11pm.

Pastry is always sooooo expensive and we tend to avoid it but now it’s permanently in our freezer which opens up so many more homemade meals and snacks. It also made for a cheap birthday party food (cheesy Vegemite scrolls) which were eaten up before the party was over with the perfect puff

Absolutely one of the best value packs of pastry on the market. More sheets and fantastic price. I will always go for this product when it’s in the freezer. We use it for pies, homemade crackers and pinwheels which are always a hit for the kids and their friends.

Bought this for my meal preps for my family and love how tasty and simple kt is to use. Also texture wise,it doesn’t turn cracky in the freezer when i keep it for long unlike other brands. It also has a lot a good neutral taste which makes it grest for my baking needs

Puff pastry is a staple in my household and black and golds is right up there for taste. Not overly buttery, perfect for making snacks for the kids. We made pizza pinwheels and it did the job and you can guarantee they are all gone! The pastry was met our needs, would buy again.

I used the puff pastry to make beef and vegetable pies. While they tasted great unfortunately the pastry cracked and broke when separating the sheets. Didnt matter though because they still came out golden and flakey and you really wouldnt know the difference between black and gold or more expensive brands

Puff pastry is such a great staple to have in your freezer! I used the puff pastry to make some chicken and vegetable pies. The pastry was really easy to work with, went nice and crispy and brown in the oven, and tasted yum! Can’t wait to try another sweet treat with the pastry.

Like Black & Gold VALUE EVERYDAY, I always make sure I have puff pastry in my freezer, it’s my everyday essential! There are 6 ready rolled sheets in the pack. I used 2 sheets to make homemade sausage rolls today. Upon opening the pack, I was pleased that the first sheet wasn’t stuck to the inner cardboard as was the case with another brand I’ve used in the past. The pastry didn’t break upon rolling and held its shape. The thickness was good as well. Once cooked, it was all lovely and golden with a flaky, crisp texture that you expect a good puff pastry to have. Tasted buttery and oh so delicious too! This puff pastry is my essential go-to! Excellent value for an excellent product. Why spend more on name brands?

This was my first time trying the Black & Gold puff pastry and OMG I don’t even know where to begin. The Nutella parcels I made using the pastry came out perfectly golden with no egg wash needed. The pastry was so delicious with the flaky layers falling apart with every bite and the buttery flavour melting in your mouth. This is honestly the best store bought pastry I have ever used and tried and I would highly recommend to others.

I’m now a huge fan of Black & Gold Puff pastry. I make a lot of pastries and these came out perfectly crunchy, flakey and golden. Wasn’t dried out or breaking. Was so easy to work with. 100% recommend giving this pastry a go, I can’t wait to make a quiche later on today.
