A nice big packet of crisps that saves the kids from ordering macdonalds or something of the like when they’re craving a quick snack or chips specifically. I can fry these up nice and quick in the over or air fryer, although it’s not as amazingly seasoned as fast food places it does the job.

Black & Gold Straight Cut Potato Chips have been a great swap out for our usual brands. They cook really fast, are very crispy and come in a very generously sized 1 kg bag. The only factor that losing a few points is that the potatoes aren’t sourced locally, which is what I try to buy

I always have a bag of these chips in my freezer because it can be the easiest accompaniment to pizza, meat, fish, and poultry dishes, especially when the oven is on already, so it’s just a matter of adding a tray of chips in too. Great quality potatoes and a nice taste.

These chips cook well in the oven and air fryer. They are crispy and tasty as well as versatile. They can be used as a side dish or the main event loaded with toppings.
The are good quality and great value in a world where it’s no longer “cheap as chips”.

These chips are crispy, crunchy, and were incredibly easy to prepare. They also pair really well with dips too as the thick, sturdy texture means they actually hold up to a good dip session. My toddler can be quite fussy with her chips but she definitely loved these!

It’s pretty hard to mess up frozen straight cut chips and theses ones did not disappoint. They tastes great, were easy to cook in the air dryer and the most importantly got the seal of approval from the kids. Perfect to have in the freezer for the lazy dinner or the quick lunch.

Great price. Cooks and tastes just as good as expensive brands.

Big bag of chips was on the money for value. Able to feed a family of four as a side to dinner. We threw in the Air Fryer for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees and they cooked up well and were nice and crunchy. The chips were nice and thick and had plenty of flavour.

I usually air fry chips and haven’t made oven chips for a while, I found that these didn’t crisp up as well as I would have liked. They were really good value and I would consider buying them again.

These are good to have in the freezer for lazy nights that you don’t want to cook a big meal.
I cooked mine in my deep fryer and they came out a treat, nice and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft in the middle.

Wasn’t expecting much from these as I have tried cheaper frozen chips before and they have been lacking taste and very floury, but these were pretty tasty and had a nice texture especially for the price point.
I wouldn’t have tried these had it not been included in the range yo try and I’m pleasantly surprised and would purchase again

Black and gold chips are good for what you pay for. They cook up well in both an air fryer or oven but they are just your basic chips.
Good to have as a side with dinner, or jazz then up a little as loaded fries with cheese, bacon and sauce.

Black & Gold Straight Cut Potato Chips were easy to cook in the air fryer. They were great to have as a snack and compliment with bbq meals. The flavour wasn’t as good as other well known frozen chip brands however they did have sweet potato flavour that was nice. I would prefer to purchase another brand in the future

I cooked them in hot oil and they were very crunchy just how we like it. Great to have for a easy meal and easy to prepare. Dont think I would use them in the airfryer as they would be soggy. Be great if they had a airfryer potato chip that is for airfryers only

These potato chips were eaten by my whole family who enjoyed them. I did put them in the airfryer at 200 degrees for 25 minutes to make them crispy, they were crispy quicker than other brands we have tried that I put in airfryer for 35 mins. Would buy them again as they tasted lovely and cooked quickly with minimal ingredients added so healthier than others I’ve tried.

We enjoy trying these chips. The taste was average, compared to others. I would say that is something we could have eventually due to the value for money, but the quality it’s not the best. They taste a bit oily which is something that I personally did not enjoy, but the kids liked them.

I did put these in the airfryer for 20 minutes at 180 degrees and they turned out perfectly crispy and delicious would definately recommend to everyone

Not too bad! Love that there’s no added nasties! These chips did seem a little oily when I first took them out of the bag to put into the air fryer but they cooled really well and were very crunchy! The straight chips are a good shape for us and we enjoyed eating these with a side of tomato sauce. Price was a little much but not too bad considering the cost of giving today.

I bought these chips and they were good in the oven, but could have been a bit crispier. I would have preferred if there was an option for air-frying as I like to cook my chips that way. They were really good value for the price and I would consider buying them again.

These chips were enjoyed by my entire family. I loved the packaging size. I didn’t like that they didn’t have air fryer option.
The chips I didn’t find cooked up as well as other chips we have tried before. They did get a little dry. They didn’t stand out on shelves very well due to other packaging sold like community brand.

These straight cut potato chips were a great addition to dinner. I put them in the oven for 20 minutes, i could have baked them for a little longer so they could be a bit more crunchy, but overall they were nice chips, they are cut a good even size.

Loved the black and gold straight cut chips. Simple ingredients and a decent size chip. Great value for a 1 kilo bag of chips. Had these as a side with our lasagne and salad and everyone loved them. No instructions on packet for airfryer but I put them in for 20 minutes from frozen and they gave them a shake to mix them up a few times. Came out crunchy and well cooked. Will buy again from my local IGA

The cooking instructions were clear although they do not have an airfryer option.
I cooked the chips in our airfryer for a little less time and they came out crispy and evenly browned.
The flavour was ok, not as good as other brands we usually eat. My family did enjoy them, although they commented that they prefer our usual brand.

Overall the chips turned out good in the airfryer. Could have cooked a little more evenly. Yum!
