This is a must have in our household for dinner most nights as we frequently enjoy creamy pasta dishes. The kids and I take turns making meals using it and I repurchase almost on a weekly basis with how quickly we run out of our stock at home. Would highly recommend.

This Black and Gold thickened cream is a good as the more expensive brands and just as easy to whip up as the other brands. I love this 300 ml size bottle because it means I can whip up enough for a sponge cake or pavlova and still have enough left over to enjoy with a piece of cake or some fruit. Why pay more for a cream that is five star quality?

I really enjoyed his thickened cream and was happy to note that it was cheaper than where I’d usually get it from. It’s creamy, tasty and very versatile. BLACK&GOLD THICKENED CREAM was a new product to me as I usually use thickening cream. This was my first time using the thickened cream and won’t be my last. I actually liked it more. It was thick in texture & full of flavour. I found it much easier & more quicker to use for cooking. I love the fact that it comes in a bottle that has a reusable lid.

This thickened cream is excellent quality and great to have on hand for cooking creamy pasta dishes or for whipping up the cream and having it with desserts and stewed fruits. It whips up quickly and holds together well. Also cooks well without curdling and has a beautifully rich and satisfying taste.

After discovery black and golds cream, I have been substituting it into all our regular favourites… butter chicken, pasta sauces and even on our crepes and pancakes. It whips perfectly, was amazing on a pavlova. So much better value in comparison to other brands, without losing any quality or taste.

My family devour this cream everytime I buy it! There is no comparison to well known brands when considering price! This cream is cheap and satisfies all ‘cream’ needs. I got this cream for us to use with our pudding for dessert and it was so good i can’t believe there’s not much difference to the taste and texture of black and gold to a brand name cream. We will definitely be buying this again very good value for money

I purchased this cream because it looked pretty good and I usually use the cream to make butter and buttermilk. I did this over the weekend and the butter was all crumbly and the buttermilk was all foamy. The buttermilk pancakes tasted a little off but were still edible. I think I’ll skip buying this again. I do like how they have a range of products though and it’s good for people on a budget but I think the quality is lacking when it comes to this cream.

I bought this to cook an easy pesto pasta as we are currently in the middle of moving and it was great. I was surprised at how good the cream was and would definitely purchase again.

We used this cream in a carbonara dish,
and it was beautiful and so, so creamy.
I also like the design of this bottle a LOT!
I like that it has a twist lid to store it,
as I usually just throw the other ones away,
regardless of how much is actually left,
because of the silly lids other bottles have,
so I like that I can keep these without mess!

This thickened cream was great, it whipped up well and held its peaks even after sitting for a day in the fridge. I love that it comes in a bottle with a screw on lid, it makes storing in the fridge much easier.

We really liked the shape of the bottle and that it didn’t take up much space in the fridge, given its generous quantity. We made a pasta out of this cream and it turned out delicious.

I used the thickened cream to make pistachio tiramisu and wow it was great. It set well and the tastes was amazing. I loved the style of the bottle also, it poured out very easily.. It will now be my go to thickened cream for all of my future recipe’s!

I made a milo icecream with this thickened cream and added the Black & Gold Condensed Milk. It created a beautiful creamy and delicious icrecream which was easy to scoop! The creamy whipped up so quickly it was a delight to work with.

We whipped up the thickened cream to have with our Black & Gold pancake mix for a family breakfast. The cream whipped really well in a few minutes and stayed light and fluffy. it was a really yummy treat to have as a topping on pancakes. Although the taste was great, when it came down to value for money, it was on par with other brands.

Perfect sizing for adding texture and flavour to my beef stroganoff. I like the little seal under the cap which kept the creamy contents fresh and safe. The Black and Gold Thickened cream kept well in the fridge untill i needed it. The 300ml sizing meant there was no waste which i find when i buy bigger cartons. The screw cap is also a good idea rather than carboard with an unsecure lid.

I was slightly disappointed with this not because of taste or convenience size but the store i brought it from ad it was short dated leaving me only a couple days to use it. Made a couple of potato bake with it which were So yummy

I tried these thickened cream with our potato bake. It was just as delicious as any other brand. It was creamy and the perfect consistency.

Much like the sour cream, I was worried about how thick and creamy this product would be.

To my surprise this product whipped up like a dream.

Not only didn’t live up to his expectations, he lived up to mine. The thickened cream was beautifully, thick and creamy and delicious.

We recently bought the Black & Gold thickened cream to try, which we ended up adding to a roasted pumpkin soup, then the remainder to a homemade apple crumble. I recently purchased the black and gold brand thickened cream, which I used to make butter. I was quite pleased with the amount of butter I was able to produce from the thickened cream. The resulting butter was fresh, smooth, and of excellent quality, offering great value for money and a delightful taste.

It whips, it pours, it thickens, it smothers and its delicious! What more could you want. No difference from the expensive brands in my opinion. It’s my goto at my local iga with cost rising so much, this is an absolute winner. Also a good size so you don’t end up wasting any

Its consistency was richer & thicker compared to thickening cream that I usually use. It’s white textured as I usually get other brands & they are more of a cream yellow colour. Comes in a small bottle with with a lid that can be resealed. As the other brands I usually get don’t come with lid. The taste was so lite on my stomach.

Black and Gold cream exceeded my expectations. I whipped it to go with our dessert. It whipped really well and the whole family agreed that it tasted great. A convenient and adequately sizes container that was an easy to pour. I really liked the milk-like screw lid. That’d come in super handy to store if there was any leftover.

Got this to make my homemade egg custard which can easily go wrong if not using good quality products but it turned out so yummy and no different to when I use other branded creams so definitely would recommend this as the quality is top notch! Will also be repurchasing this in the future.

This cream surpassed my expectations, the taste was so creamy and it was great on its own and in cooking. I first tried it with strawberries and it was lovely. I used what was leftover in a chicken tikka masala and my family commented that it was the best one I have ever made.
