Who doesn’t love tomato paste, this little red gem is a pantry staple in my house. Always have in stock and with the price of this tomato paste I can keep my pantry well and truly stocked up. I have used several times and it is just as good as more expensive brands.

Found it to be tasty and good thick texture. Was much better than the more expensive brands out there. Will definitely be buying this again.

We were so keen to try the black and gold tomato paste. Tomato paste is an absolute staple in our house and to find something incredibly tasty and affordable as this was a bonus. We added to our spaghetti bolognese sauch which added a nice rich tomato taste. Another great product from the range!

We absolutely loved the IGA Black & Gold tomato paste. It’s thick and concentrated, not runny like other stores home brands. It makes my dishes like bolognese, ragu and pizzas rich and delicious and for a fraction of the price of expensive name brands, it’s a huge win-win for us!

Used the paste to make bolognese, couldn’t tell the difference, tasted just as good as the more expensive versions I have used before and at just a fraction of the cost! Got the thumbs up from my family of five! Would definitely buy again and would highly recommend to others!

I have been so thrilled to review IGA products and have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of products I was able to purchase for a small amount of money. Tomato paste is a staple item in our household and I used this tomato paste on a pizza base and in a pasta sauce. The tomato paste spread easily over the pizza base and the texture is good and it spread evenly. The tomato paste added great flavour to the pizza and to the pasta sauce. I will happily buy this tomato paste in the future.

The black and gold tomato paste did not disappoint! Regularly use recipes that require tomato paste and decided to give it a go and was so happy I did, this is better value than what I was using and I managed to use it all up in under a week so now need to go and buy more!

Pleasantly surprised with the Black and Gold tomato paste. I really enjoyed the taste and texture, and found it was great for cooking and adding to stews (lamp shanks especially).

It is really reasonably priced and great value for money. The 500g bottle is also great for being to reuse if needed, and simply store in the fridge.

This tomato paste was rich with a deep tomato velvety flavour. Combined with minced steak, garlic canned tomatoes, onions ,capsicum and herbs it made a lovely sauce for my pasta bake and gave the dish some real depth. Topped it off with some shaved Parmesan it was perfection. Will buy again!

Being from a Mediterranean background, good quality tomato paste is a staple in my household. This tomato paste is right up there. My first surprise was 99% concentrated tomatoes! The second surprise was the depth of flavour. We have used it in pasta dishes, in pizza pinwheels wheels and directly with some bread and olive oil. I will definitely be buying this again!

We add tomato paste to a lot of our dishes and will always look for one that has very little ingredients in it which this black and gold tomato paste passed the test! In a large 500g jar, value for money is what drew me to purchase this. I added the paste to the base of my spaghetti bolognese and it gave the rich, tomatoey taste i needed. Would definately reccomend adding this to your shopping list.

Black & Gold Tomato Paste 500g is a pantry essential in my home. With 99% concentrated tomatoes, plus just water and salt, it’s great to know exactly what’s going into our meals, no strange additives, numbers, or hidden ingredients.
I use it regularly for homemade pizzas, pasta sauces, baking,school snacks and plenty of family meals. It’s rich, thick, and adds great flavour without overpowering the dish. As a mum of three little kids, I really love having a reliable, no fuss product like this on hand.

This tomato paste has a great consistency. Better than other cheaper brands. It is a very large jar and I will be able to use it for many recipes. I keep my paste in the freezer. The price is really good but I had to drop 1 star due to it being made in China. I used a tablespoon to make this delicious pasta sauce and highly recommend.

Im shocked at the value for money! This is such a big jar & it was such a good price. The taste was better than others i have tried. I’ll definitely be using it in the future. Its so convenient that the brand has such a wide range of products

Great for cooking with. I used this product when making a homemade pasta sauce. Could get a lot of serves out of this one large jar. It’s quite good value for money. The product itself was high quality and I couldn’t really tell the difference between this and my usual brand. I would buy this again.
