These oats make for a great breakfast that I try to encourage the children to eat for their fibre needs. Depends on the day and they often alternate with cereal as they love the sugar but on the days they eat it they have no complaints. Would recommend with some brown sugar and topped with berries.

My husband enjoys making oats for breakfast and has found these Black and Gold Quick Oats to be as good as other more expensive brands. They cook down to a soft consistency without being too mushy. I often add them to my muffins to add bulk and fiber and have found them to be great quality.

These Black & Gold Australian Quick Oats are great value, I was so happy they are from Australia as well. Oats are a pantry staple in my house and eaten almost daily. I used this packet to make granola, chocolate chip cookies and overnight oats and porridge I prefer the quick oats because as the title says they cook quicker and I have a very impatient 3yo so the faster I can make meals the better.

I tried these with my toddler, and they were way too lumpy for him, so I had to hand blitz them to the right consistency. I also had a bowl of these and found the texture not to be that nice but the flavor was good once I added honey and strawberries. I’ll buy these again because I found that if I soaked them in milk over night and then cooked them, they turned out a lot softer and yummy. Great rage of products

I honestly can’t believe that I can get an entire bag of oats of exactly the same quality as the expensive brand name competitors for so little money! I never would have thought to have tried this brand of oats. I am absolutely stoked and consider me converted! I used the oats to make my usual protein baked oats slice that I have for my mid morning snack and let me tell you, it’s never tasted better!

I use these oats for baking, in particular for baking chewy anzac biscuits and they worked perfect for this. I will definitely be buying this product of black and gold again in the future.

Love Black and Gold quick oats. A good start my day. Like to add some natural yoghurt to add flavour to an already nutritious oats. Skim milk preferred from the B + G range. It’s very easy to prepare meal with the quick oats and tried in my homemade healthy cake which my kids love it.

I was a bit hesitant to swap over my Oats as I love my named brand oats however I was pleasantly surprised. Not only great value for money but also great taste too – something I wasn’t willing to compromise on. I will defiantly be buying these again also great value!

I like to add fruit, honey, whatever you’ve got, and breakfast is sorted for the entire family without breaking the bank. These quick oats make porridge making much faster than normal rolled oats. My kids prefer these over normal oats as they are smoother and less lumpy to eat.

I tried the Australian Quick Oats and just like the name implies they are quick and easy to make. I followed the instructions on the back of the packet and in just a few minutes I had a lovely warm and filling breakfast. The oats were of good quality cut to just the right size and turned into a lovely creamy flavoursome porridge. The fact that they are an Australian product is a big plus for me. I added a dash of maple syrup and some fresh fruit for some sweetness – yummy! These really help you fill up and feel like you have had something wholesome and healthy.

The Black & Gold quick oats were ok, The taste and texture was very different to other brands and to what I prefer. The Black & Gold quick oats seem to be a thicker cut to other brands I have tried and didn’t taste as good as other brands. I would be interested in baking with them and seeing whether the difference in texture and taste is recognizable as much.
