Definitely a cooking necessity I re-purchase whenever we are out. Necessary for all the baking we do in my household so the repurchasing is quick often. High quality, never had issues with it going off before the used by date and makes for delicious baked goods. Would recommend for all mums!

This raw sugar is a bargain, it’s full of high quality Australian sugar. I don’t notice any difference between this and the name brand product I would usually buy. It isn’t clumped together and is really great to cook and bake with. This has become a frequent purchase for me and I would recommend it to others

Really like this raw sugar, our household uses a lot of sugar, I bpnever like to let the pantry or sugar pots run out, so I am always keen to keep stocked up. The kids love it, and actually prefer this sugar to white sugar! Just delicious on treats or even coffee.

This is a nice raw sugar that goes great in tea and coffees and for any of your baking needs. It has a subtle caramelly flavour which is the whole reason I buy raw sugar. Couldn’t ask for muck more from a raw sugar and at a great affordable price.

I really like IGA Raw Sugar. It has a light golden color and a subtle caramel taste that makes tea, coffee, drinks and baking extra nice. It dissolves well, feels more natural than white sugar, and the price is affordable. A simple, reliable pantry essential. Just one teaspoon made my drink super delicious.

We used the raw sugar in our tea and coffee as well as for baking. Everything tasted great and was on par with other brand name products.

We made some delicious biscuits with it and they turned out wonderfully chewy and soft. My kids were very impressed and it’s a winner in my book.

I usually buy the branded raw sugar for daily use. This is a good alternative with better values and taste the same. Will buy this in future and I see no difference comparing to the branded one. In my opinion raw sugar is better health wise. Highly recommended for this one

I use raw sugar for our household sweetener- for beverages, cooking etc. Black and Gold raw sugar dissolves well, tastes nice and is good value for money. I am glad to have been able to try this as I can now buy it as an addition to the other brands that I buy.

I was surprised by the caramel scent that I was able to detect before I even opened the bag. I had to double check the ingredient list to make sure it was pure sugar and not an additive! Lighter in colour than other brands I’ve used, but still deliciously sweet and a great pantry staple with a great price point.

Having grown up on the Black and Gold range though, this product brings back those childhood memories (still tastes the same, and is still the same great value for quality). I would purchase again and totally recommend.

The first thing I noticed about the Black and Gold Raw Sugar was the lovely aroma when opening the pack. Also the color was a deep rich brown with larger grains than others. In fact it was an appealing looking raw sugar compared to other brands. I placed one teaspoon into my cup of coffee and it gave my coffee a deliciously sweet and lovely taste. I was so impressed with this raw sugar that I will definitely be switching to this brand in the future!

When I got home from the shops, I poured the sugar into my jar and immediately noticed the color difference, compared to another supermarket brand raw sugar. The Black & Gold sugar was much darker, suggesting it is less refined with a higher molasses content? Either way, I found this product to be sweeter, so I’m using less of it, which makes it healthier and even better value for money in my eyes! I would definitely buy this again in the future.

This sugar was perfect for making cookies for the kids and great value and easy to locate on the shelves.

Made Anzac biscuits today using the Black and Gold raw sugar. Sugar is a nice colour, grains are consistent in size. Made some Choc Banana biscuits, used raw sugar, plain flour and SR flour. Turned out really nice, nice colour due to the raw sugar. Definatly will use these products again.

Great tasting raw sugar from the Black & Gold Range. It cost less then $2 from memory for a 1kg bag which is great value. It tasted exactly as sugar should taste. I would highly recommend buying this sugar over the more expensive brands you can buy from the supermarkets.
