These rolled oats make for a great breakfast that I try to encourage the children to eat for their fibre needs. Depends on the day and they often alternate with cereal as they love the sugar but on the days they eat it they have no complaints. Would recommend with some brown sugar and topped with berries.

They taste so fresh, are nice whole pieces, and the bags aren’t filled with a pile of powder at the bottom. I buy them for $1.50 which is an absolute bargain for Australian produce.

I’m usually a time poor person and when it comes to breakfast I prefer something quick and easy. I thought the black & gold rolled oats were the perfect breakfast choice for me, as they’re simple and easy to make. I love that they taste great and it’s a healthy breakfast option. i definitely think it’s good value for money and these rolled oats will last me a while since they come in 750g bags. It would be nice if the packaging came with a zip lock.

This pack tells you all you need and is equivalent to any of the big brands. Highly recommend!

School holidays means heaps of baking. Great quality. Usually go for the brand names and was surprised that the quality was there. Made one lot of biscuits already. Plenty more baking to do and plenty of happy faces to share all the baked treats with. Thank you for including us in this review

I have loved trialling these Black and Gold rolled oats with my family! My son and I made our favourite Anzac biscuits and they were delicious! The oats worked perfectly in our recipe and at only $1.90 for a very generous 750g pack, they are amazing value for money! I highly recommend these Black and Gold rolled oats for their deliciousness, versatility and excellent value for money!

Black and Gold rolled oats are excellent value for money and very good quality. I used mine in a variety of recipes including. Anzac biscuits, baked oats and homemade granola. All recipes were enhanced with the chewy consistency of the oats in the Anzac bickies, soft and delicious in the baked oats and crunchy and soaked up tones of flavour in the granola. I love that they are Australian made and I will be purchasing this brand again.

I found these oats to be less “tender” than the brand name I often purchase. Even after soaking for a longer period of time, they are a little firmer than what I am used to. However, they are still a solid product and I used a mix of these and the quick oats to make flap jacks which turned out great. If the brand name aren’t on sale these would be my go to.

Can’t fault the black & gold Australian Rolled oats! Despite them looking cheap in the packaging and less appealing than other oats I was pleasantly surprised ! These oats were great! I soaked them and added frozen fruit and flax meal, sugar and pepitas to have for my breakfast and they were lovely and creamy. Like all rolled oats they took a bit longer to cook then quick oats but these are a healthier option! Definitely recommend. Would prefer if they were a little cheaper though for what they are. (Basic oats). But cost of living etc. is taken into account.

With a five star rating these tender rolled oats are a must. Breakfast is served so quick. easily and convenient. Even though they do taste a little bland on their own. I like to add fruit, nuts and seeds to the mix. Great wholesome meal and excellent value for 750g. Thoroughly enjoyed this product.

My hubby made an apple crumble and a chocolate slice of some sort using the oats we purchased.

Bother recipes were delish.
So we can say perfect for baking and I even had for breakfast.
For breakfast they were very filling and I was left satisfied and not hungry these will become a staple in my pantry from now on.

Oats are a must have in my house – so versatile – I love overnight oats, home made granola, granola bars, cookie dough bark or just adding to my smoothie. Each way oats are a great addition to so many meals and snacks. Highly recommend keeping Black & Gold oats in your pantry!

Apart from being slightly dearer than what I usually pay, these oats were really creamy and actually cooked up quicker than others. They are Australian made which is very important to me. For my breakfast, I either use them for porridge or make my own muesli. These were delicious and I will continue to purchase.

I was worried trying the black and gold rolled oats that there quality wouldn’t be as good as more expensive brands but I was pleasantly surprised. You wouldn’t even know from look and taste that they are a cheaper brand. They taste yum. I will be choosing black and gold for now on.

As good as the leading brands. Good aroma and was great both hot and cold.

Was genuinely surprised that the oats were all in full form and not crumbs. Was actually really good to eat. Size of the packet and full sized oats were more pleasant to eat.
