We use a lot of desiccated coconut in our household and I found this product lived up to my expectations. My husband has it in his breakfast each day and I use it for cooking. Priced at $4.69 it is cheaper than other brands. Packed in Australia from imported ingredients with a BB date of 11th August 26.

The 500g Dessicated Coconut I bought was nice and moist and had a wonderful coconut aroma and very pleasing flavour with lovely lingering aftertaste.
I toasted the dessicated coconut to add to my home made Beef Rendang which lifted my dish to another level.
This week using it to make lovely coconut slice for our fruit pickers on the orchard.
All in all a wonderful quality Black and Gold product and would love to see it available in resealable packaging soon.
. . . so much easier if only this was available for Mary-Ann’s coconut cream pie!

This desiccated coconut is very very good quality for any savory or sweet dish. It is fine and of great quality. Amazing value for the price. I added them to my cheesecake base as well as for my native aavoury dish “putti” and both came out very well. I highly recommend it.
