I have come across some rather interesting articles lately but this one has stuck with me! Let me know…do you think these are true? Will you try them?

We’re all told to exercise, eat well and get a lot of sleep in order to live as long as possible..
However these fun habits have been proven to help extend your life span as well!

Although some of them sound strange, they’re worth adopting to help live a little longer.
1. Skip A Few Showers!
Over washing your skin can strip it of natural oils and kill the good type of bacteria.

2. Clean Your House
Frequent housework has also been linked to living a longer life!

3. Go barefoot!
This helps avoid absorption of some of the toxins that linger in the soles of our shoes!

4. Laugh a lot
Turns out laughter really is the BEST medicine!

5. Keep on working
Involving yourself in meaningful and productive tasks can help increase your longevity!

6. Keep thing Spicy!
Spices make you a whole lot healthier and help fight off bacteria and viruses.

7. Have a couple of drinks!
Researchers have found that moderate consumption of alcohol can lead to a longer life expectancy! Woohoo!

I read this article from:

  • Moderation in most things makes sense to me.

    • I thoroughly agree with you here, moderation is the key.

  • Shoes do take 24 hours to dry out and it is best to wear different shoes(if you can) each day to give them time to dry out. The sweat is what causes the nasty smell and bacteria. At home feet should be aired out too as they do get very wet from sweat.

  • Interesting.
the closest I go to number one is not washing my hair everyday. I also don’t drink

  • Interesting but I am not to sure about 1 and 3. Body odour is caused by bacteria, so I would hope a person sweating and a little stinky would take a shower.
Also going barefoot depends on the area or ground you are walking on, public washrooms, around public swimming pools or in some cases just the pavement can result in tinea or planter warts (to name but two).
    THANKS FOR SHARING THOUGH.
