Hello!

After a fairly normal pregnancy ( baby no 5) i was 36.4 weeks when i went into labour. When i decided to go to the hospital we found i was 4 cm and baby had become breech. He had never been breech in the pregnancy . So we went through , had a natural delivery – YES WITH BABY STILL IN BREECH POSITION ?!! so bum first he was born ! He did catch hypothermia from the 10 minute delivery process , and spent 9 days in the neo natal unit before coming home , but oe things for sure Tahdyn definately makes his own path in life !!! I recently was told to hold my head high , only 6 % of pregnancies end in breech delivery , let alone successfully for mother and babys health. I truly was blessed to have the worlds best midwife and very lucky for the one doctor to be on that night that likes to ” give it a try” !

  • I also had my son in an undiagnosed breech. The obstetrician broke my waters and said he could feel,a good head of hair! Yet my son came out…..with scratches on his bum! Mind you, now I think, how could he feel hair through his rubber glove anyway? But I was lucky, being undiagnosed, we didn’t know a breech was happening til it was happening. So lucky nothing went wrong
