what do other mums think of the whole Adam Goodes story?
Me personally I don’t think it’s racially motivated. If it were, why aren’t all the other Indigenous AFL players get booed? There’s a lot of booing in general at AFL games, it is worse for Goodesy though. So while I think it’s not racial, I do think it’s stupid and that it needs to stop. Adam Goodes is a brilliant player, a legend of the game and should be treated as such. So stop the booing and let everyone get on with the game

The booing was getting beyond ridiculous. Pretty mean stuff for more than a whole season. We don’t even know what was said to him from those on the sideline. Very, very hurtful. He is not even a dirty player…..brownlow medallist – best and fairest.

I agree I don’t feel it’s racially motivated.. although that does not mean he doesn’t feel it is racially motivated.

It seems it’s no longer going to be an issue, Adam Goodes announced his retirement last night. So sad the game gas lost a great player, I’m sure the racism debate around him had a lot to do with it

  This debate will still continue and it is one that needs to be debated. It is a much bigger issue than just one player.
