America - Real Mum story on MoM

So, my three year old is set on going to the USA. My parents moved over there in January this year and since then all he has been talking about is America. Every morning he’ll jump on Skype and call his grandparents and often talk to them for an hour. We will go over as a family this time next year, but we have to save a lot for all six of us to go!

Anyway, this fetish with America is starting to drive me nuts! We will get in the car and drop his brothers off at school and as soon as they are out the 3yo starts yelling at me not to go wherever we are going and to head to America. He’ll yell and scream til he’s blue in the face! There is nothing I can do, except tell him that he can call his grandparents and tell them that they need to take him to America! Crazy kid!

Oh my goodness, I really thought you were sending your 3 year old to America by himself to see his grandparents. Which lots of people do, putting kids on planes, without parents. I did think it was a long trip for a little fella on his own. LoL

Lol he has not real concept of where it is and the cost to get there. What fun you will have when you make it there

I can understand them, I would like to go aswell! We are planning on going in 2 years, but do europe aswell. Have a great time when you do decide to go.
