Today, I remember and honour all those souls that sacrificed their lives for their loved ones and country. Lest we forget.

  • I am a little sad with Anzac Day, it is a day to remember and thank soldiers for their service. Yet there are so many homeless, suffering PTSD, struggling on the pension to live and pay their bills right now, in our country, every day. Why is it only LEST WE FORGET after they die? Are they not honored while they are alive too. Veterans come in all ages. We’d want better if it was our own child who served. These soldiers struggling are someones child.

  • Its beautiful to see the kids getting involved with this tradition for the first time ever, MY seven year old son insisted on watching every service to do with in on Tv. He ended up in tears trying to understand the meaning of it but when he did. He was so proud of all the people who have served in such sacrifice for the well being of others..

    • A special moment and time for your son in understanding Anzac Day.

  • Everyone involved with the armed services who has helped protect Australia, in any capacity, deserves remembering. ANZAC Day is truly a time to reflect and appreciate every sacrifice made and that is continuing to be made.

  • I am anti war, but have great respect for those who do such a dangerous job.
