Hello!

i am so sore for the past couple of days and it is my own fault. i decided to get fit and went to cross fit personal trainer thinking that it would be a walk in the park, after all i am doing yoga, running after 3 rug rats and am naturally slim. i was wrong on so many levels, after only 10 minutes of huffing and puffing, doing sit ups, chin ups, rowing, (i refused jumping though) the guy told me to climb up the wall on one of those rope things. i did but half way couldn’t hold anymore and let go, fell on top of the guy< who had great sense of humor telling me he was always dreaming of the girls falling out of the sky. i quit after that, now sore, bruised and feeling sorry for myself i told to myself never ever again i'll do that. i am just no designed to get punished like that, i'll stick to my yoga and occasional game of footy with my kids – much safer and way more fun

  • Maybe it was your trainer who was all wrong.

  • I love gentle exercise like walking and it’s enjoyable – I’m not cut out as a gym junkie or any other strenuous work outs.

  • You can incorporate all sorts of exercise into your daily routine, all it takes is a bit of thought and some imagination. And make sure it’s something either fun, or that you know you enjoy, becoz if you don’t enjoy it, you won’t stick at it. Nothing worse than starting something with the best of intentions, then having to give up because you hurt yourself.

  • The thing with getting fit is also about doing activities that you enjoy. Then only your plan will last… Of you are not enjoying the process, chances are you will give up very soon
