I feel for you and even though we were told about the terrible twos it never happened for us, mind you as a teen DD might be making up a bit of ground now

Yes it will end eventually and for the time being just explain to her that her behaviour is upsetting you and if she could help clean up her messes then you will have more time to play games with her. She probably is feeling a little bit left out.

sounds like jealousy so try and include her in things you do with the baby. Before I had my son I bought my daughter a boy doll with all it bits and that was her baby Jay. So when I feed Jay she feed her Jay same as bathing and changing and dressing,,,,as we knew it was a boy before he was born. Make some special time for her when bub is asleep so she still feels special. I know it’s hard and draining but I made time by washing at night and putting other things off until night time and at bath time after Jay was bathed I would run a bath for her and my self to share while Dad was on baby duty

Jealousy could have something to do with it but honestly all tots can be testing at times so I wouldn’t be holding my breath for it to just suddenly stop!

I’m not sure I can help but I certainly feel your pain. I have a 5 month old and an almost 2 year old. Generally she’s pretty good but there are some days when she will just get into everything, throw things, not listen, just..everything! It’s exhausting! Haha and I apparently haven’t reached the terrible two’s stage yet…

some will be she is jealous but the terrible 2’s don’t stop there as they continue alot longer. They should call it the terrible 2′ 3′ 4′
