Hello!

My little girl (nearly two) loves going to the beach. Yesterday we had some lovely weather so we rushed around to get everything else done so that we could go to the beach. We went to a different beach as it was closer but there was a big dip between shallow and deep water. I was getting ready to take a photo with my phone and my daughter decided to go running into the water (told her so many times not to!). She slipped and fell and I instinctively ran and grabbed her – phone in hand still. Needless to say the phone did not survive. So today my daughter and I will be visiting the phone shop :)

  • oh i have seen tricks on youtube to save wet phones. put it in a bag of rice and it will draw the moisture out. Open it all up and let it dry out. Try to turn it on and good luck. There are other methods that people try as well. They used an iphone in this vid

  • Well at least you cared more about her than your phone. Mine has taken a battering the amount of times I’ve tried to take a photo of my kids and had to drop my phone to rescue them.

  • If you had to choose between the safety of your phone or your 2 year old I’m sure it’ll be a no brainer! But great excuse to get a new phone too!
