Census Night - Real Mum story on MoM

I was a little concerned about Census night, but luckily it was ok. It took three attempts to log in, which took about 5 minutes. Then one error message mid way through the Census, but then ok. It was much easier to complete online and to submit than the old paper based forms. I did not like giving the paper based ones back to random strangers, too many hands for the forms to go through to reach the final destination. Overall it was easy and is done.

We had a paper one delivered to the house on the day it was to be done. I’ll post it back. I’m reluctant to put our names and the street number of our house. I don’t think they need this info. Am yet to post it

We weren’t able to submit ours. Hopefully all will be well with the site soon.

I completed it online earlier in the day. No problems logging in and the process was white simple and smooth. I’m glad too I completed it before the site was shut down.

I spoke to so many people that had problems with it online – glad I was able to complete it online before the site was shut down.

We received a census form left in the mailbox on the weekend. To be honest I was starting to get a bit concerned as they left it very late. Lucky it was fairly quick to fill out and happy we weren’t involved with internet problems on site.

I was lucky. Got in it seems right before the crash. Only took me one attempt and about 12 minutes – no issues whatsoever

We still haven’t got an answer about not receiving either a code or paper-based version… thankfully a wad of paper appeared on the driveway (just caught before the rain) and we realized (before it was eaten by animals) that this was a census form. We really HOPE it is the right one for our property! Why they didn’t send a code in the post I’ve no idea. Or why they left them (at the last minute) stuck on people’s fence posts, gates and other posts on the verge to blow about is also a mystery.
