Is becoming a mother everything you expected? Yes it is.

I expected:

My daughter to bring me her boogers because apparently Im proud of the size of her boogers
My son who does impressions in 5 different accents at the most inconvenient times
My daughter who kids and screams and crys at school every morning because she misses her mummy
My son who tells me hes changing his name to “Jedi” as soon as he is 18
My daughter because she says shes going to be a doctor when shes older so i never have to put bandaids on her again
My son who says that he doesn’t need to go to school because he knows everything already

Would I change being a parent? No , not for the world.

  • LOL. I love the things kids say and think. I would love to be a fly on the wall in their brains sometimes. My 5 year old just told me she wants to move to Paris and be an artist. I mean, she loves drawing but hello? Paris? Where did she come across that?!!

  • Being a mother is hard work but when u look at the whole picture it’s one of the most rewarding ‘jobs’ you could have. While at times a child’s timing isn’t great when u look back at the moment it usually brings a smile or a chuckle
