Does anyone else anxiously wait for their kids are in bed before scoffing a whole block of chocolate? I do.. I want to be a good role model for my son so i hardly eat any sweets in front of him, but when he is in bed its a whole different story. Out come the chocolates, excitement in the air, noone come near me its chocolate time!!!

Signs You’re A Chocoholic
1. You hide all the chocolate in the house so no one else can find it
2. You think about chocolate all day and crave it
3. You get angry if anyone touches your chocolate
4. You love anything that relates to chocolate – Nutella, Mocha Latte ect
5. You eat those health bars with the chocolate coating on the bottom, but you only eat the bottom
6. Everytime you go to the shops you buy a chocolate bar to keep in the fridge
7. You freak out if your chocolate bar stash is empty
8. You have secret stashes of chocolate all over the house
9. You have tried every different type of chocolate there is to try – Dark, milk, white, nutty, chilli ect ect
10. Your friends know just to get you chocolate for any occasion and you will be happy

If this sounds like you maybe you are also a chocolate addict??

I mist definitely fall into this category. I tried to give up chocolate for 3 months to prove to my kids you can do anything you put your mind to and commit to and I did. I have never felt that I need to do this again!

I do love chocolate but am afraid it does not love me any more.. plays up with my fibromyalgia something terrible eg headaches and sore muscles..but sometimes I just have to put up with a choc muscle ache from time to time. Now excuse me it’s time for a hot chocolate to see me through the afternoon.lol.

it is strange, when I was younger, I could not stand the taste of chocolate, now.. as I age, I cannot get enough of the stuff

H ha ha, you are not alone. I love my chocolate as well, I had to try everything and my favourite was trying all the new ones coming out on the market. I even spotted the new picnic cadbury block yesterday at the supermarket but I was strong this time as I have been on a sugar free diet over the last few weeks. I found that once you stop and get over the cravings then they start to slow down. So the temptation for me now is not so bad but I know exactly what you are talking about.

fantastic read i must admit i am the same i hide all the good stuff and then once all the kids are in bed i get it all out lol i like it think that i deserve it from all the mummy work I’ve done all day its my payment.

I think you & I need to start a 12-step program i.e we only need to take 12 steps to the next chocolate stash!

lol I love your post and the chocolate monsters in my house is Hubby and we have the oldest Grand Daughter when she comes knows Grandad has chocolate. One of my grandsons has not yet been brought out for his Easter chocolate and Hubby is only going to wait another week than he reckons it’s his. I have bought chocolate for presents and when you go to get it he spins the line but I thought it was mine even thou he was with when I bought the box of favorites as a gift for my Mother.

Hahaha sometimes. Actually no that’s a lie only around easter time. Otherwise we only have dark chocolate in the house which I’m more than happy to share on occasion with my daughter. Haha I can relate with other items though.

Lol. Doesn’t sound like me at all but I know a few people like that! I only eat chilli dark chocs!
