Discounted Movie Tickets and more - Real Mum story on MoM

My niece and I have started going to the movies together as part of a catch up (we both have young boys under the age of 5), love a good girlie movie followed by lunch. I remembered that my phone company did discount tickets so looked on line great $10 per ticket per adult can also buy as gifts!

Our home line provider offers $11 tickets including some moonlight cinema as well Candy bar upgrade.

So this made me look more into this our insurer for our home offers:

discount:
– movie tickets
-AMF bowling
– Discounts on holidays
– and many other discounts

You do need to check if there are any limitations on using tickets or discounts.

Definitely worth checking with the companies you have agreements with to see if you can get some of these discounts.

I have used the cheap movie tickets before but never thought of insurance company or any others. Might be doing some investigating prior to planning our next outing

If you do a lot of online shopping, joining a site like http://www.rewardscentral.com.au/Join/Default.aspx?refer=Mara allows you to collect points for your purchases which can be redeemed for cash, gift cards or other prizes. I do all my Christmas and birthday gift shopping and have received hundreds of dollars back over the last year or so.

That is a good way of saving some dollars. Sometimes check at the back of your shopping receipts. There are discounts for car wash, buy one meal and get one free. Its good for an outing with other busy mums for catching up and a meal cooked by someone else other than you!

It was certainly useful to me! Thank you. I love these cost saving ideas. I have hooked my qantas rewards membership up to my phone/internet provider and it gives me loads of points just for paying my bill. If you have anymore tips like these please do share, as I love these kind of ideas

If you’re going to the movies regularly, it may be worth buying a book of ten tickets – usually cheaper.
