Hello!

As you might remember from an earlier post I have 4 children. My twins were born early at 32 weeks and will be 2 next month. My daughter is on oxygen since she was 3 weeks old, and is expected to be for 3 – 5 years. Anyway, we were out and about yesterday and we had a older lady come up to us and say “oh wow, twins…oh, what’s wrong with that one” as she was pointing to my daughter. This has happened to us more than once, and really upsets me every time. Do people actually think before they speak these days? I don’t mind explaining my daughters reasons for needing oxygen, but only if I get asked in a polite way.

  • Some peoples mouths engage before their brains do.

  • That is really rude and there’s no excuse for it.

  • Some people just don’t think before speaking and some maybe don’t know how to approach it whilst some are just rude. I would speak up and say something if you are not happy.

  • It is truly a fine line between thinking before you speak and being honest
