My 5 yr old fell and split her forhead open, I stopped the bleeding and thought it was ok. A couple of hrs later someone suggested she needed stitches so i took her to the hospital and she got three. How irresponsible of me not to notice how deep it really was

Don’t be too hard on yourself all is well now. You will know better next time. It perhaps still would have healed without stitches something to be concerned about with head injuries is to get a person checked in case of concussion.
You are not a bad mother. Just not perfect…..no one is!
