Gastro nightmare - Real Mum story on MoM

So for the past 4 days/ nights I’ve dealt with the shocking results thanks to a miniGastro out break at our house. I use the term mini loosely. Hubby and I are the only ones who haven’t got it yet but the way I’m feeling I think it’s on it’s way or hopefully it’s just the results of no sleep. My poor little 12 month old got got it from my niece who is 14 months and then he passed it on to my 3year old. Without any hint of exaggeration, I did 8 loads of washing and drying in just one day yesterday thanks to the ongoing vomiting (sorry TMI) but I’m just thankful that no one has vomited in the time it’s taken to share my week from hell.

I feel for you. My toddler has had it, I have had a mild version. Thankfully on the mend now. I hope your family is too

Gastro outbreak is a nightmare! I remember years ago it went through our family almost one after the other & the washing machine died during it all! Thank heavens for my caring Mum who came & picked up & returned our washing.

Gastro is one of the worst childhood illnesses. Especially when it goes round everyone and you think it’s gone, but then it starts going around for a second time!

Hope it passes soon – take care of yourself, if you succumb to the bug. Hopefully no-one gets dehydrated or develops other complications.

Gastro is truly awful and many of us have been there, loads of washing and it is exhausting. Hopefully everyone will be on the mend soon.
