Hi All,
i was just wondering if some mums wouldnt mind sharing with me what they ate for a good healthy pregnancy.
I have done a fair bit of research on the topic but some meal plans are so full on with the most expensive ingredients and so time consuming!
I would love just a list of b/fast, lunch, dinner, snacks just basic ideas from mums.
Also how much should you eat?? Should you exercise, how often, how much is too much?
Thanks!

  • My doctor just said lots of fruit and veggies and meat. And to cut back on sugar, so not many chocolates or soft drink etc

  • Personally, I tried to eat as healthily as possible with my pregnancies. With my second, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and was fortunately able to be controlled with diet alone :) I basically stuck to the meat and veg theory for dinner, had a couple of slices of toast for brekkie, tuna and salad for lunch, my meals really weren’t anything extravagant :) snacks you could include fresh fruit, yoghurt and nuts to keep you going and for the healthy fats plus it’s a good way to get your fresh fruit and some dairy intake :) good luck with your pregnancy, try not to stress too much over what you’re eating and enjoy it! :)

    • Thanks very much for the advice.
I actually have been pregnanct before and had a daughter but she passed away. I really want my next baby to be healthy so i just want to do everything possible to have a successful pregnancy this time round. Thanks again.
