Warning. My daughter had thick beautiful hair and wanted hair extensions. A girl added heaps of hair extensions in and with hot glue so they would not come out. Well after a few weeks the glue was showing through the hair like large yellow clumps of dandruff. My daughter went to the hairdresser to get their opinion in getting them out. It would of too much money and they said she would have bald patches and need a wig. She went home and got her partner to cut them out. What a mess. We have sen lots of these cases on the internet. Please dont use hair extensions with glue.

I would be going back to that hairdresser and getting your money back!

  • What a disaster! Poor girl. Good warning to others though. I hope she at least got her money back from hairdresser. I’d be threatening to sue them for such a bad result.

  • I’m not sure why someone with thick beautiful hair would want hair extensions. Shame the hairdresser didn’t treat it with respect. Some hairdressers should find an alternative career! :-(

  • I thought glue hair extensions were a thing of the past now with so many more options like weft (where they braid them in and sew) or tape etc. I’m sorry she had such a bad experience and thank you for sharing so that others don’t suffer the same experience.
