Being sick means the chance to revisit the Harry Potter series. It is a wonderful series of books and it is good to meet magical young wizards again.

  • I would like to buy my daughter some Harry Potter books although am not sure if her age is suitable. What age is normally recommended or suitable for reading Harry Potter books?

  • Some of the books could have used a bit of editing, though.

  • Lately I’ve borrowed from the library, for my daugher, the new illustrated “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”. It’s so beautiful. You don’t want to put it down!!

  • I’ve recently started learning french. Since I have read and reread this series until I almost know it word for word, I decided to read it in french to help me learn the language. So far, I’ve picked up quite a bit of grammar and vocabulary.

  • I read up to book 4 as a teenager (about 10) years ago and they were awsome. I need to get the series for when my little ones get older.

  • Harry potter has got to be my favourite all time series to read. I have lost count of how many times I have ‘re-visited’ my childhood by reading these.

  • The Harry Potter series really does bring magic into ones world.
I actually purchased “The Cursed Child” when it was released and although I did not think it was as good as her previous books it was still great.

Glad you enjoyed revisiting the wizarding world and do hope you are 100% well now. :-)

  • Reading these book aloud is such a delight for everyone. Watching the reactions and enjoying the books altogether. :)

  • One of my sons favourite series of books. I reckon he’s read each book 4 times and watched the movies just as much. As for me, I’ve read the first 2 pages of the first book……and that’s it

    • Revisiting books is so much fun and some books just keep giving joy.
