I just learnt this little trick after I bought some new skinny jeans. If the jeans are a bit tight and you don’t want to wait for them to stretch out on their own. Then follow these tips,
1. If the whole garment is too tight put them on then fill up your bath with warm water. Sit in the bath with the jeans on for about 5 minutes. Stand up and let them drip as much as they can. Then leave them on for a least a hour or more. Hang them to dry. Once dry they should be just right.
2. If just the waistband is too tight put them on and soak the waistband of the jeans leave them on for a least an hour giving a gently tug every so often. Hand them to dry. Once dry they should be just right.
Jeans can stretch up to 2.5cm so just keep doing the above till you get them right. Don’t wash them for as long as possible this will allow the fabric to mold to your body. Do not put them in a dryer as they will srink again.
Takes a bit of determination but trust me it works!
