A few weeks ago I bought some face paints. I bought them because last year I was planning on hiring a face painter for my oldest daughters 4th birthday. But the cost of having someone come paint the kids face for 2 hours was out of my budget.

So now I’ve taken it up myself to learn. I do not have any formal training or anything like that. I have just been painting from what I have seen been painted on my kids faces and what comes naturally to me.

I must admit that I am surprised how much I enjoy practicing on my kids and my own arm. I feel as though this is my calling and I have been gaining a real passion for face painting this past week.

Posted below is a (half face) butterfly. I’ve also painted unicorns, tigers, dragons, t-rex, spriders, flowers and the list goes on.

Great business idea…While I don’t know the first thing about stating a business it sounds like you could make something of this if you really enjoy it….perhaps look into how you might start up something! The most successful ventures always stem from things you enjoy.

I can’t see the photo for some reason. However, if you’ve found something you enjoy….stick with it. Whether it’s your calling or not. It’s important to have something we enjoy, so many have no joy

Yeh definitely put some photos on the craft page! Good on you. Why not offer to paint faces at friends kids parties for a small fee:)
