I love occassionaly giving my Children surprises

Here in melbourne we just had disney on ice *Princesses & Heroes* my 2 1/2 year old daughter is in love with Rapunzel and my 1 1/2 year old son in love with ickey mouse as he calls him. I hadn’t purchased tickets but with my daughter been a little ill i thought what a lovely surprise it would be for a wonderful outing with my loved ones. It was extremely hard to not tell them where we were going, I truly wanted it to be a surprise so bit my tongue all day until we got there, my children were so happy i took a photo of my daughters face and had to share it made my heart melt =)

I love treating my kids and makes it more worthwhile because I never really got treats as a kid. My parents weren’t well off at all so to see there faces when they get a surprise is priceless.

You are a great mum. We did this recently with the wiggles concert. We arrived and Miss 2 thought we were going to a park. She was so excited when we went inside and the wiggles were there

I love seeing surprise and joy on my kids faces – we often go on “magical mystery tours” just because I love seeing their faces when we arrive somewhere fun.

O so glad you were able to keep it a secret for a lovely surprise, lucky things.
I’ve just bought tix to see Dora on stage in Sept. I will try very hard to keep this a surprise for my daughter

Aww that is really sweet. It’s so much fun spoiling kids! I bought my Miss 6 a Jake and the Neverland Pirates DVD and a freddo yesterday. She lookeed at the dvd and was like hmmm ok then goes “oh thanks mum this is awesome you are the best” about the freddo. Next time I’ll just spend the 50c not the $20
