Iron Accident - Real Mum story on MoM

So today I did all my ironing, afterwards I unplugged the iron and put it on top of the dining table to cool down before putting it away (my 1yr old can’t reach on top of the table). Hours later I when I was cooking dinner I put my son in his walker so he couldn’t get up to no good. Next minute I hear a crash and go to see what’s happened. He had only pulled himself up to table height (as his walker gives him that extra bit of height) and pulled the iron down which caught his cheek and the window on its way down to the floor. Lucky it had completely cooled down and it just goes to show that when you think they can’t do something there one step ahead and their new acheivement is just around the corner!

wow…that could of been so much worse. We can never underestimate how quick they can move and get to things that we thought were not possible……too clever for their own good sometimes!! I’m glad it wasn’t more serious!
