Yes, it seems the way for a lot of kids. Not sure why though.l I guess cleaning and hygiene just isn’t fun enough for kids!

Most children I know are exactly the same! As a bit of a clean freak myself, it drives me nuts!

Hand washing is a definite challenge with all of mine.

Maybe get them to sing a song while they are washing their hands-it may help?
Maybe a reward chart for doing a good job-washing hands and brushing teeth?
Only reward the good jobs!
Maybe another demonstration or two….on washing hands and brushing teeth as often kids need several models on how to do things.

Oh I hear you! Mine are doing the same.. saying they brushed their teeth, yet toothbrush not wet, so they said they blow dried it WTF I wont let down on it tho. My parents never pushed me and I have learned badly from it.. one day they will be sick of hearing it and do it or they will finally see why we nagged em =)
