Feeding the cats

This morning when I got up I went into the kitchen only to feel something wet and squishy between my toes. so gross! I look down to see I’m standing in a small pile of cat food, it’s my daughters job to feed the cats so after cleaning it up I go find her getting dressed in her room to ask her what was with the cat food on the floor. She tells me she had woken up early and decided to feed the cats but couldn’t find one of their bowls ( the dog had taken it) and the cat had got sick of waiting and wandered off. She didn’t want it to be hungry so had put the food in the middle of the floor so it would see it and be reminded to eat! So cute and so annoying at the same time. 🙂 Needless to say she won’t be doing that again.

My son takes the food out of the cats bowl and chases them around the house telling them they are hungry. I have tried to explain to him that they can feed themselves but he doesn’t listen got to love the terrible threes

I wasn’t expecting the squishy mess to be cat food, my first thought was cat vomit. I know I’ve woken in the morning to tread in squishy vomit. Yuck!

I hear what you are saying…i stepped in reconstituted cat food yesterday after one of my felines was sick. It was not a pleasant feeling. I tried to get my kids to feed them to teach them responsibility but they are just hopeless…..they refill the same bowl instead of cleaning it first and they are too lazy to mash it up…they just plonk the sachet in whole. I have given up asking them as it is easier to do it myself!
