Each Anzac day we go to visit my grandfather’s plaque (we was a WW2 veteran) to say hello and lay some flowers and poppies. It was so beautiful today to see they had planted rosemary all around the plaques and placed a bright red poppy on each of the return service men’s plaque. We love to sit and chat to grandpa and today it was just made that little bit more special with rosemary scent through the air and poppies all around. Such a symbolic yet simple thing to do to honour our heros
