Hello!

Ok I am guilty of telling some little white lies.

All last year hubby was home a lot as we were running our own business. After winter business dies off, and though it was great having him home all the time, having no income was fairly lousy!

Now he has gone back to work full time, as he is really old fashioned and believes I should be home looking after madam and he should be the provider (not that I am complaining!!!) One income is a bit tight, but metter than none!

Anyways, for the first few weeks he was working, I would regal him with tales of our little one’s new words, or funny things she did, or new games to play.

After telling him one day of a new skill she had learnt, I noticed he looked a little sad, and I suddenly realised each little tale was bitter sweet for him, as he was missing out on so much.

This is where the little white lies now come in!

I have decided now that when she learns something new, I am not going to tell him about it. Instead I am waiting until she does it when he is home, and pretendng it is the first time.

I did this the other night, and the look of delight on his face I think makes up for the little fibs!
