I am a 22 year old who gave birth to my daughter Maleika-Jaye at 28+2 wks. I had a very easy pregnancy up until 26 wks when I began to bleed. Went to the hospital for a check up and was 5cm dilated. I was put on bed rest until I went into natural labor which was when all the craziness started! I was continuously bleeding while having contractions and because I was bleeding I wasn’t allowed to get out of bed. It was so hard having to go through both back and front labor without being able to move around. I was booked in for a c-section at midday but unfortunately I was loosing so much blood so was rushed in for an emergency c-section. They were setting me up for a epidural, and the DR decided to double check to make sure baby wasn’t on her way. I was already 10cm dilated and bleeding quite a lot so they put me under general anesthetic! At 11:15cm my beautiful princess was born weighing a tiny 2lb 3oz (1070grams) and 37cm long! She was in hospital for 9 very long weeks but is now a very healthy and happy 2 year old and I could not be happier with how perfect she is!
