Hi all, Here is my story. After being told by fertility doctors that me and my husband had less than 5% chance of naturally conceiving we opted for IVF, and were blessed on our first attempt with a baby boy, 6lb 7oz. A couple of years later we decided to add to our family and went back to IVf. We had 2 unsuccessful attempts that ended in miscarriage before falling pregnant with twins I developed cholestasis at 27 weeks and was hospitalised for the remainder of my pregnancy. I made it to 32 weeks before my daughter and son were welcomed into the world. 4lb 1oz & 4lb 5.5oz. We had ups and downs in the first few days, but both babies had been moved from NICU to SCU by 2weeks old. However at 26days old my daughter developed RSV and was rushed back to NICU in a bad way, things were touch and go for a while, and she was eventually intubated for 4 days as she couldn’t breath by herself. She ended up being in hospital for 11 weeks all up, and in still on oxygen at 22 months old. We are hoping that next year we might be able to start weaning her off the oxygen. When the twins were 6 months old we found out that we we expecting again, this time natural conception, and not have another little boy in our family, 7lb 2oz. Life in my house is never boring, and spare time is not a thing I have much of, but wouldn’t change it for the world.
