2 toddlers and stuck inside :(

i have two beautiful toddlers, a boy and a girl aged three, during summer is the best because they go outside and play all day but being stuck inside on those really crappy days is not much fun for this mumma. i swear i have tried every activity possible, playdough, baking, lego, arts and crafts, role play games, hide and seek, everything!! but they still seem to always fight about the smallest thing, but only inside!! any advice or tips on how to calm them down inside?

Oh no, no thoughts on how to stop the fighting. My two are the same. Doesn’t matter what activity is chosen, there’s always bickering. So you stop the activity and there’s still bickering because they’re bored. I just can’t win!

Also; maybe set up some basic inside play rules with star charts.

I would set up individual activity play stations and they have to take turns at each station; then an activity together at the end.

I am a mum of 3 yr old twins boy and girl and I know exactly what your talking about
it must just be an age thing. They fight quite often and its very rare that they are occupied for longer then 30 mins
looking forward to kindy next yr haha but until I need something

Sounds like they need separate activities to do together but separate steps if that makes sense? Maybe get them to help prepare the veges for dinner, or the sandwiches for lunch, taking in turns and you being between them to stop any potential arguments.

Reading? Get them to do separate activities ie. One help you with cooking and the other is decorating the top of the cupcakes or something??? That way they are in control of their own activities, but will learn to be part of a team.
