so hard to have to keep packing up and moving I dread the day I do it

Don’t blame you ,it’s sad these days can’t find long term rentals .We waited yrs for government home even this has a 10 year lease ! Hang in there .could always have garage sale ,to lessen the move load .

Ohhh you poor bugger. I feel your pain. moving has to be one of the most horrible things to do in life. It feels like starting over and having to go through the process of packing and unpacking. I really hope things start to look up for you soon hun

Thanks! I still reckon the worst move EVER I had to move by public transport. Imagine getting on a bus with a string of saucepans around your neck and a rolled and tied up mattress…

Good luck! We were in the same situation previously and funnily enough we found that the cost off actually moving was not much different to the increase in rent for 12 months! But that depends on how much the rent is rising by… Unfortunately vacancies are so low that landlords can afford to keep putting prices up.

I am lucky I have only moved out of Mum’s got my first house with Hubby than built a house but I do remember the dreaded packing and cleaning

I feel your pain. I have only moved a few times but with no real support and family all interstate, it is one heck of a job and every time I always feel you lose money- saving for the bond, the cost of moving your things and the four weeks rent a lot of places require. Each time it has been a case of having the house sold,since I’ve been in my current area that is. I really hope all goes well. It is a sickening feeling when you get that letter. Best of luck

I am currently moving and I hate it! I was just at my place for 18months and had everything in the right spot and colour coordinated and now I have two houses of chaos!

I completely understand how you are feeling right now. Admittedly I’ve only ever really moved twice (properly), once from Queensland to Tassie, then from my parent-in-laws house to our current rental and both times were hell. I seriously want our next house to be the family house we live in for the next 30 odd years.
