So my son who is 11 months old is teething again! The first time he got teeth he got the four top ones all at once, second time he cut two. This time he is getting three, but worse he has two bottom front teeth and a molar coming through. This kid does not do things by half.
Working full time I usually come home stressed and just want to hug my family. My son usually hugs up to me, which in his current state is absolutely impossible without getting bitten, scratched and hit.
All this week he has been the grumpiest little person I know, he is even bashing his toys around, hitting and kicking people and doing the I am going to die moan and groan. When he starts doing that my eight year old “know it all” daughter (who usually is like a second mother to him and loves him to bits) gets frustrated and then starts taking it out by back chatting me and my husband for anything and everything even the simple get your pj’s on request. Then my husband will take it out on me with the silent treatment.
Usually I relish the quiet time after the kids are in bed, this week I am in heaven as soon as the kids are in bed. Everything goes back to normal for a good couple of hours. I cannot wait until his teething is over, I cannot remember my daughters teeth ever being so painful for her!
