Paint smells - Real Mum story on MoM

Does anyone have any remedy for getting rid of the strong smell of gloss wood paint? I am in the process of having all doors and skirting painted and day 1 the smell is really overpowering and giving me a headache!
Does anyone know any tips apart from keeping doors and windows open how can I get rid of the smell quickly?

Bioworld neutralizer. You can order this online but its expensive. Here’s a tip -add 1 teaspoon of Peppermint oil per 1 gallon of paint. It is clear so it can be used in even cream or white tones. This should help stop the odor while painting it on the walls.

My dad always taught us to put a bucket of water in the room and put all windows up to air. I love the smell

If you have carpet on the floors sprinkle with bicarbonate soda. Leave overnight and vacuum in the morning. Bucket of water in room draw the smell out. Change water over daily.
