Potty training - Real Mum story on MoM

My three year old niece lives with me. She has been with me since she was 13 months old. So it was time to do the old potty training. My youngest child being a boy and now 8. It’s been a while since I have potty trained. Well my beautiful niece made the whole thing so easy for me. She wanted to be a big girl and go to the toilet. And since the day we put her in her nickies. She hasn’t had an accident. We are now wearing nickies to bed of a night time and she hasn’t had any accidents. I have been waking her up and taking her. I am so proud of my niece (and my self) that our toilet training experience was so great and easy for both of us

My kids were the same. My son was daytime dry by 20 months, my daughter wasn’t much older. I didn’t do the wake up through the night bizzo though

Well done! My son just turned 2 and he has shown interest in using the toilet. We let him have a go on the toilet every morning. He is yet to actually do anything (it has been a month) I think he just likes to copy what mum and dad do.

I have found with my kids potty training that the girls seem to take to it a lot easier than boys, My daughter took to it easily as well. But my two boys (one of them is 3 and in training) have been a lot harder to train.. My youngest will do wees no worries on the toilet most of the time.. But holds in his number 2s. and ends up constipated as a result… If only they all were so easy to train…
